Job Title: SEN Educational Support Specialist
Estimated Salary: £25,500 - £30,600 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN teaching assistant to join our client's team at a specialist post-16 school in London. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students or young adults with special educational needs (SEN) and be enthusiastic about supporting their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a stimulating and engaging environment for students with SEN
- Work in groups or 1:1 with students requiring extra support to achieve academic success
- Provide personal care when needed to ensure the well-being of students
Requirements:
- Experience working with students or young adults with SEN
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly desirable
- Able to work full-time to provide consistent support to students
- Passion for working with young people with SEN and other learning difficulties
- Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
- Reliable and professional attitude to maintain high standards of education and care
- Up-to-date DBS certification (or ability to apply)
