About Our Client

Our client is a specialist post-16 school in Edgware, providing high-quality education to students with special educational needs. They are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join their team.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people with special educational needs and other learning difficulties. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality education to students with SEN.

Responsibilities:
  • To work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to develop individualized plans for students requiring extra support.
  • To maintain an engaging and stimulating environment for students, ensuring their needs are met and they feel supported.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students or young adults with SEN
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a school environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality education.
  • Able to work on a full-time basis, with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
