About the Role:

Job Description:

As a Part-Time Year 2 Educator, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to a mixed-ability Year 2 class.
  • Taking on full classroom teacher responsibilities, including lesson planning, attending staff meetings, and assessments.
  • Collaborating with the experienced Year 2 team and sharing best practices.
  • Fostering a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and curiosity in students.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Year 2 Teacher or in a similar role.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the confidence to engage a lively and challenging class.
  • Ability to work effectively with a shared Teaching Assistant across both Year 2 classes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to step into the role quickly and make an immediate positive impact.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits.
