Secondary School Support Staff

We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Harrow, London. This role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to work with students requiring SEN support, as well as contributing to general classroom assistance.
The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping students reach their full potential both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting strategies to suit their learning requirements.
2. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a supportive classroom environment.
3. Help students with organisational skills, staying on task, and building confidence in their abilities.
4. Support behaviour management strategies and promote positive learning habits.
5. Monitor student progress and communicate updates to teachers and parents where required.
Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
