Assistant Manager Role Overview

At Young's Pubs, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to lead our team in our stylish, food-focused pub. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team of dedicated staff, and contributing to the overall success of our pub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of staff to provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills, ensuring they have the expertise to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and staff retention.
  • Contribute to the development of menus, promotions, and events to drive sales and increase customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading a team to achieve business objectives.

  • A passion for food and drink, with knowledge of menu development and promotions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
