About the Role

Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Site Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our hospital operations, you will play a vital role in providing leadership and support to our clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing support and advice to patients and staff, particularly during out-of-hours periods.
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
  • Assist in hospital operations, providing leadership and coordination of emergency responses.
  • Participate in capacity meetings, maintaining accurate bed state information and coordinating bed utilisation.
  • Support site management 24/7, collecting capacity data for audits and troubleshooting issues in the patient pathway.

Requirements

  • Registered Adult Nurse with a degree in a health-related area or equivalent experience.
  • Practice Supervisor/Practice Assessor qualification.
  • Current Immediate Life Support qualification.
  • Significant post-registration experience in an acute setting, with management experience and demonstrable experience as a Shift Leader.
