About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful Energy & Utilities practice at PA's Economics & Investment Strategy capability, where you will work with some of the largest clients across Government and industry.

As an Energy/ Electricity Market Modeller, you will apply economic principles and the latest analytical methods to develop practical solutions for regulation and policy, business strategy, econometric forecasting, competition policy and more.

You will work closely with our team of modellers, economists, and business case experts to provide clear answers about potential impact, benefits and return on investment.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Good understanding of UK and/or European power and energy markets and systems.
  • Strong experience in using PLEXOS and other statistical data analysis and data mining tools such as R, Python, Excel etc.
  • Passion and ability for the practical application of energy economics.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for team working.
  • Excellent written English.
