HR Payroll Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced part-time payroll/HR administrator to support the HR team in ensuring a professional service is provided to the organisation.
Location: Fully office based
Estimated Salary: £24,000 per annum
Working Hours: 30 hours per week, either over 4 or 5 days
Benefits: Pension, generous holiday and bank holidays, free parking
Responsibilities:- Support the HR Team with recruitment processes
- Produce offer letters and contracts
- Complete new starter checklists, including referencing
- Conduct DBS and right to work checks
- Coordinate safeguarding training
- Administer and process monthly payroll for all staff
- Upload new starter information to the payroll system, calculating hours worked
- Enter changes onto the system each month, such as sickness, holidays, leavers, and starters
- Upload pension data to providers each month
- Produce annual salary letters and upload salaries to the payroll system
- Previous experience working in a payroll position is essential
- Proven work history in a busy HR function
- A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to interact with diverse groups
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Moorepay is advantageous but not required
- Due to the location, a driver's licence and own transport are necessary
