About the Role

Pertemps is proud to be partnering with Royal Mail to recruit skilled individuals for Postal Delivery Worker positions across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Begin your day by sorting and collecting post/parcels at a local delivery office, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Utilize a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries, as well as navigate routes efficiently.
  • As a physically demanding role, you will walk at least 8 miles per day, carrying a post bag and delivering letters and parcels. You will also be required to drive and walk during deliveries, pushing/pulling a post trolley as needed.
Requirements
  • A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is mandatory; a clean license is preferred.
  • Previous delivery or driving experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities are crucial in providing excellent service to clients.
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices is essential for the safety of yourself and others on the road.
  • You must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and willing to work 5 days out of 7, including potential weekends.
