Courier Service Representative

Pertemps is seeking a reliable and physically fit Courier Service Representative to join our team in Stornoway, Scotland.

• You will be responsible for sorting and collecting post/parcels at the local delivery office.
• A hand-held device will be provided to capture customer signatures for deliveries and act as your routing system.
• The role requires walking at least 8 miles per day, carrying a post bag, and driving/on foot delivery.
• Additionally, you will need to push/pull a post trolley during deliveries.

Requirements:

• A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is mandatory.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills are required.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities are necessary.
• A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices is expected.
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions is a requirement.
• Able to work 5 days out of 7 including potential weekend shifts.

Compensation:

This position offers an estimated hourly salary of £16.58 based on industry standards.
