Pertemps is seeking a reliable Postal Route Collector to join our team in Stornoway, Scotland, for the peak festive season.
Key Tasks:- Sort and collect post/parcels at the local delivery office.
- Utilize a hand-held device for capturing customer signatures and navigation.
- Walk at least 8 miles daily, carry a post bag, and engage in driving and on-foot delivery.
- Push/pull a post trolley as necessary during deliveries.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
- Desirable: previous delivery or driving experience.
- Strong time management, organisational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to safe driving practices and adaptable to varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work a 5-day week with potential weekend shifts.
Hourly Rate:
This position estimates an hourly salary of £16.58 based on industry standards.
