We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our high-volume gastro pub in North London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring top-tier customer experiences, driving business growth, and maintaining the venue's reputation for quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service and the highest standards in both food and drink.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a large team, fostering a positive working environment and promoting development within the team.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a consistently excellent experience for all guests, with an emphasis on high-quality service, hospitality, and attention to detail.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability through effective cost control, stock management, and sales forecasting.
  • Business Development: Drive the business forward by implementing marketing strategies, growing footfall, and enhancing the pub's reputation.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all licensing, health & safety, and food safety regulations are met and upheld.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, high-quality hospitality venue (ideally within the gastro pub or restaurant).
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a large team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for the food and beverage industry.
  • Solid financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, costs, and revenue streams.
  • Knowledge of food, drink, and the latest industry trends.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
