We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist SEMH Support Worker to join our team in Leeds. This is a full-time position available immediately, Monday through Friday, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualised support to help students navigate their school day with confidence and resilience.
- Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to reinforce each student's personalised learning plan and promote positive behaviours.
- Assist with behaviour management, including de-escalation techniques, to maintain a calm and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Document progress and communicate insights with staff to drive each student's success.
- Previous experience supporting students with SEMH needs in a school or similar environment.
- Team Teach certification (preferred but training options are available).
- A patient, compassionate approach, with the ability to provide emotional support.
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Daily rate of £95 - £105.
- A collaborative school community focused on student well-being and success.
- Professional growth opportunities, including training and certifications.
