As a SEMH Support Specialist with TeacherActive, you will have the opportunity to work with Primary and Secondary schools in Leeds, supporting students with emotional and social difficulties. With a strong focus on exams and preparation for SATs and GCSEs, this role requires someone with excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide individualised support to students with challenging behaviours.
  • To develop and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Team Teach trained.
  • QTS Qualification (ECTs also welcome).
  • Experience teaching Primary and Secondary schools.
  • Understanding of SEMH pupils' needs.
