Leeds-Based SEMH Needs Support Specialist

We are seeking a Leeds-Based SEMH Needs Support Specialist to join our team at Accelerate Teaching. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide one-to-one support to a child with SEMH needs in a primary school setting.

As a behaviour specialist, you will develop and implement tailored support plans, working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure effective support. With a strong passion for supporting children with social and emotional mental health (SEMH) needs, you will play a pivotal role in empowering this child to reach their full potential.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or education-based setting is essential.
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
  • A compassionate and understanding approach to supporting children with complex needs, recognising their individual strengths and challenges.
  • Ability to work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored support plans.
