Business Support Position

We are seeking a Business Support Assistant to join our Adult Care Services team in Hemel Hempstead. This is a dynamic role that requires a skilled administrator to provide essential support to our teams and contribute to business success.

About the Role

This is a 3-month contract position working Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing business and administrative support to our teams, including assisting Senior Officers with confidential matters and answering phone calls.

Main Responsibilities
  • Utilise Microsoft Office software packages for document preparation and management.
  • Update and manage computer databases, spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Provide administrative support, including note-taking, filing, faxing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Manage general duties, including cash handling, correspondence, invoices, and timesheets.
  • Coordinate team commitments, schedule meetings, arrange training courses, and book venues.
Requirements and Benefits
  • Prior experience in service delivery or a business-related qualification is beneficial.
  • You must have excellent communication skills, customer care expertise, and efficient administration skills.
  • You should be self-motivated, approachable, and willing to adapt to changing priorities while adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • The salary for this position is £12.65 per hour, which reflects the importance of this role in supporting our teams and driving business success.
