Control Systems Developer

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for various clients in Barrow-in-Furness.
The estimated salary for this role is £55,250 per annum, based on 2 days per fortnight on-site work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and manage system requirements, including acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and control system theory, including PID control.
- Experience with electrical circuits design, EMC precautions, and power supply characteristics.
- Familiarity with Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and standards BS EN 61508 or 61511.
- Proficient in PLC programming and Fieldbus technology (Profibus/Profinet).
