Job Description:

As a Senior Configuration Control Specialist, you will be responsible for providing SQEP oversight, particularly for CMC/SWSS areas of the Submarine, ensuring engineering-produced artefacts meet quality and compliance standards.

You will manage product configuration changes, documentation and traceability to maintain system integrity. This includes configurating baselines and the processes and mechanisms to monitor and govern all aspects of products and systems throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Additionally, you will control baselines for design, support and project documentation, and contribute to the development of Configuration Management Plans and input to the Project Management Plan.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering (ideally Systems Engineering) or a related technical discipline
  • Knowledge of configuration management
  • Knowledge of defence standards
  • Experience in SWSS/CMC areas of a Submarine
  • Knowledge of the complete engineering lifecycle with some experience of operating in a number of phases
