Job Title: Configuration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Configuration Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. This is a unique opportunity to work with our emerging Product Configuration Team, where you will play a key role in collating and delivering fully configured Equipment Information Packs of source technical data to our customers.

The successful candidate will have experience within the engineering domain, a knowledge of engineering technical documentation, advanced communication and collaboration skills, and experience with product lifecycle management tools. In return, we offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per year based on experience, as well as a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Key Responsibilities:
  • Create equipment information packs and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Manage product configuration from initial concept to production and through to in-service support.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Design teams to design and document configuration requirements.
  • Develop and maintain product configuration baselines, including build materials, drawings and technical documentation.
  • Ensure product configuration data is accurate, available and up-to-date for all stakeholders.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Experience within the engineering domain.
  • A knowledge of engineering technical documentation.
  • Advanced communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools.
