CBSbutler Ltd. is a leading provider of exceptional IT solutions and services, seeking an Expert Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of devices and software, as well as managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Network Engineering team in implementing and configuring network devices and software within scheduled change windows.
  • Manage projects effectively, communicating and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Create and maintain detailed network topology diagrams and documentation to facilitate efficient communication and problem-solving.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot network-related issues that arise during implementation changes.
  • Conduct hands-on upgrades and administration of APIC HW & SW, switches, and other equipment.
  • Develop expertise in Cisco Multi-Site Orchestrator (MSO) and Nexus Dashboard, including hands-on build, administration, and upgrade capabilities.
  • Pursue proficiency in Cisco Wireless technologies, specifically Virtual WLC build/admin/upgrade, multi-SSID configurations, and CAPWAP implementations.
  • Cultivate skills in Cisco Firepower/ASA, encompassing build/admin/upgrade procedures, ASA-to-Firepower upgrades, virtual and physical appliance management, and client VPN profile setup with Secure Client.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of network engineering principles and practices.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Extensive experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and management is essential.
  • Proficiency in Cisco networking solutions, including MSO, Nexus, Wireless, and Firepower/ASA.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • The ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams is crucial.

Compensation Package

This Expert Network Infrastructure Specialist position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a daily rate of £380 - £400. The role is outside IR35, providing the successful candidate with financial stability and security.
