Company Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant/Carer (PA) at the home of a young professional lady with a physical disability. Our ideal candidate will be part of a collaborative team approach, assisting the Employer in being as independent as possible.

Salary:

The hourly rate for this role is £16.50 per hour when providing care at the Employer's place of work in Birmingham, and £12.50 per hour for care provided at the Employer's home address and accompanying the Employer to social events. Additional shifts covering holiday and sick leave may also be agreed upon.

Job Description:

This position involves assisting the Employer with 4 bed calls a week from 10pm until 10:30pm, Monday to Thursday inclusive. Responsibilities include providing drinks, clearing away dishes, preparing a bed, and assisting with minimal personal care and letting the dog out into the garden.

In addition to regular working hours, the successful candidate will also act as a bank member of staff to cover shifts/calls when the Employer's current PAs are on leave during weekdays and weekends. This may involve supporting the Employer at home and at work with domestic duties and basic work tasks such as passing paperwork, getting drinks, and food, as well as personal care.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, be able to use their own initiative, and be a good team player. A full UK driving license and use of their own car with business insurance are required. Any candidate must be willing to work flexibly in negotiation with the Employer.
