Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Associate Practitioner (AP) posts to support our registered Biomedical Scientists within the histopathology laboratory at our esteemed institution. This busy department provides a comprehensive diagnostic service to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting our registered Biomedical Scientists in the histopathology laboratory
  • Providing high-quality technical assistance in the preparation and examination of tissue samples
  • Working collaboratively with the laboratory team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of histopathology and its role in disease diagnosis and treatment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in laboratory sciences, with a focus on histopathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients
