Overview –
This is a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated professional to assume a pivotal leadership position without the financial implications associated with partnership. You will be part of a well-supported surgical practice, taking charge of the daily operations alongside an experienced Senior Practice Manager with over five years of tenure.
Collaborating closely with the Trust, you will leverage extensive resources and support while maintaining autonomy in the practice's daily management.
You will engage with a vibrant team of General Practitioners, many of whom have been positively placed by our agency.
Your schedule will consist of two days dedicated to clinical responsibilities, leadership duties, and continuing professional development (CPD) time.
Compensation – Competitive remuneration of £13,000-14,000 per session based on experience.
Practice Overview –
- Educational Practice
- Aimed at alleviating GP workload
- Support from a team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health professionals, Podiatrists, and a dedicated Single-Point-of-Access Team managing care home responsibilities.
- Documentation is centrally processed by the Trust and only forwarded to the practice when necessary.
- Allocated CPD time, reducing overall working hours.
- Welcoming community with a diverse age range – generally middle-class with some areas of deprivation.
- Excellent IT infrastructure and organizational support – highly efficient practice.
- CQC rated Good.
- Utilizes SystmOne system.
Your Responsibilities –
- As Clinical Lead, your duties will encompass:
- Oversight of the clinical team.
- Conducting audits.
- Managing internal and external complaints.
- Daily operational management in conjunction with the Senior Practice Manager.
- Three sessions per week – comprising two clinical (including some paid CPD time) and one management session.
- Manageable workload
- 14 patients per session.
- 15-minute appointments for all patients.
- Daily team coffee break to foster collaboration.
- Shared duty day with three Advanced Clinical Practitioners, primarily focused on triage for the GP.
- Minimal home visit requirements.
