Professional Lead for Advanced Clinical Practitioners

The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to take on the role of Professional Lead for ACPs. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of advanced practice across the trust, working closely with senior clinical stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Main Duties of the JobAs Professional Lead for ACPs, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategies for the development and evaluation of advanced practice across the trust
- Working closely with senior clinical stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Leading the development and implementation of clinical governance frameworks for ACPs
- Providing leadership and guidance to ACPs and other healthcare professionals
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote the development of advanced practice

Person SpecificationWe are looking for an experienced ACP with a strong track record of leadership and development. The ideal candidate will have:
- Current professional registration with the relevant professional body
- Evidence of developing leadership attributes
- Experience in a senior leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge and experience of leading change to patient services, delivering tangible and sustained improvements
