About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at EDF UK. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct health screenings and statutory health surveillance to ensure employees are fit for work.
  • Provide advice and guidance on fitness for duty after illness or injury and during rehabilitation.
  • Respond to incidents and medical emergencies as appropriate.
  • Provide advice and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.
  • Comply with OH clinical governance audit and processes.
  • Work closely with other members of the team to support and mentor onsite OH technicians.
  • Attend and contribute to local safety meetings and Peer Group meetings.
  • Provide support for Mental Health First Aiders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Registered Nurse qualification with a preference for OH experience. You should be able to demonstrate your commitment to continuous professional development and your expertise in medical confidentiality, ethics, and accountability.

Experience in chronic disease management is desirable, and training will be provided for audiometry, spirometry, skin surveillance, HAVs assessment, ECG, and Vision screening.

A minimum requirement for an appropriate First Aid Qualification to Frec 3 standard is also necessary.
