Role Overview: We are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics, providing support to children with Autism in a specialist provision school in Hemel Hempstead.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to develop social, emotional, and mental health skills in children, providing individualized support in a class environment.
Required Skills: A caring and empathetic attitude, a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs, and a keen interest in SEN, mental health, and other social and emotional needs.
Working Conditions: You will be working in a supportive and inclusive setting, with a staff-to-student ratio of 1:1, and will have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this role is £25,200 - £30,960 per annum (inclusive of London Fringe Adjustment), plus benefits including a permanent contract after an initial trial period.
