Glenholme Healthcare Ltd is committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with learning disabilities. We are currently seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team.

Job Summary

This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote the independence, choice, and inclusion of people living with learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support, teaching independent living skills, and participating in community-based activities such as swimming, social activities, or other leisure activities.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong commitment to supporting individuals with learning disabilities and be able to work effectively as part of a team. No experience is required, but we do require a passion for delivering high-quality care and support.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £11.65 per hour (once you have completed our paid-for-care certificate) and £11.80 per hour on completion of a paid-for Level 2-3 NVQ qualification. Other benefits include:

  • A salary increase after completing our paid-for-care certificate
  • A salary increase after completing a paid-for Level 2-3 NVQ qualification
  • Compensation of up to £200 for completing your e-learning before you start
  • 28 holidays (including bank holidays)
