About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design concepts and solutions using 3D CAD software, such as Siemens NX.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets technical and business requirements.
  • Lead and mentor junior design engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure smooth transition of designs into production.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and engineering.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software, such as Siemens NX.
  • Experience with PDM/PLM software and MRP systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
