About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and products, utilizing 3D CAD software such as Siemens NX.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of mechanical design engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain accurate and detailed design documentation, including technical drawings and project reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a strong background in 3D CAD design and project management.
  • Skills: Proficient in Siemens NX, PDM/PLM software, and MS Office. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
