About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Geriatric Medicine to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT. As a key member of our General Medicine Consultant team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care to patients within the trust.

Main Responsibilities

The appointed consultant will be expected to contribute to the on-going service improvement programme, developing initiatives such as Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) and Cost Improvement programme (CIP). You will also be responsible for implementing evidence-based new ways of working and participating in the development of clinical protocols, guidelines, and concise care bundles.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in geriatric medicine, holding a MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, and MRCP Part 1 and Part 2 or equivalent experience. You should also have full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council, and be on the specialist register for geriatric medicine (via CCT or CESR).
