We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NHS Consultant in Geriatric Medicine to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT. As a key member of our General Medicine Consultant team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients and contributing to the further development of our service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant in Geriatric Medicine, you will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical leadership and expertise in the care of elderly patients
- Developing and implementing evidence-based clinical protocols and guidelines
- Teaching and training junior staff, medical students, and other healthcare professionals
- Participating in departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit
- Ensuring active participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- MRCP Part 1 and Part 2 or equivalent experience
- Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council
- On the specialist register for geriatric medicine (via CCT or CESR)
