Mason James is partnered with an international manufacturing business to support the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer. Due to growth, this opportunity has arisen for a full-time, permanent role within their engineering team.

Key responsibilities include providing planned and reactive maintenance of machinery and plant equipment, prioritizing breakdowns. This position allows for the development of innovation and technical skills to implement permanent fixes underpinning high performance.

This role involves working with both electrical and mechanical issues; however, a bias toward electrical engineering is required, with the ability to deal with mechanical issues.

The ideal candidate will have Supervisor / Team Leader experience in an Engineering environment, ideally apprentice trained, with Level 3 qualifications and above in a relevant discipline. Experience within FMCG/Packaging/Food environment is also desired.
