Maintenance Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Specialist to join our team at Bodycote. As a key member of our maintenance engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuous and safe operation of our equipment.
As a Maintenance Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive support to our maintenance teams across Europe. You will help drive the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles, ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and minimizes downtime.

Responsibilities:
- Travel and remote support to our European sites to assist with reactive and planned maintenance activities.
- Managing small projects related to equipment improvements or installations.
- Performing tasks to enhance asset reliability and overall plant efficiency.
- Coordinating with contractors for the servicing of plant, machinery, and related services.
- Standardizing procedures for the safe operation and maintenance of our equipment.
Requirements:
- HND in electromechanical engineering or similar qualification, with hands-on experience.
- Proven experience in mechanical breakdown repair of plant, machinery, and services.
- Experience working with compressors, gas handling, and electrical systems.
- Ideally, experience with PLCs and control systems.
- Fluency in English (German/French is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with MMS software is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension, private medical insurance, life assurance, and employee assistance program.
