About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Service Engineer to join our team as a Renewable Energy Systems Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance, breakdowns, and commissioning of renewable energy systems
  • Working on CHP's, GAS Engines, and other associated power plant equipment
  • Electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC, engines)
  • Monday to Friday covering regional patch with call out 1/4
  • Industry leading overtime & call out allowance rate of pay
  • Experience working with 450KW+
  • Familiar with CHP, Diesel or Gas Engines, Generators, UPS Industrial Plant or similar
  • Experience as a Service Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/ Marine Engineer
  • Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience working with renewable energy systems. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. A full driving license is also essential.

As a Renewable Energy Systems Specialist with Clear Engineering Recruitment LTD, you will receive a competitive salary of £37,100 - £45,000 per annum, plus overtime opportunities. You will also benefit from ongoing training and development, as well as a generous pension scheme.
