Job Summary

The Deputy Manager will be responsible for leading a team of experienced educators, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children. You will be an ambassador for our values, driving excellence and innovation in everything you do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of educators, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care and education.
  • Develop and implement effective systems of observation, tracking children's progress and achievements.
  • Ensure the nursery remains a sanctuary where every child can flourish and grow, catering to individual needs and backgrounds.
  • Support the planning and organisation of staffing schedules and holiday rotas, ensuring optimal staffing levels.
  • Handle administrative procedures, from registrations to place allocations, ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Relevant childcare qualification, level 3 minimum.
  • Experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or current Deputy Manager in a nursery setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a passion for innovation and excellence.
  • Alignment with Kido's core values: Listen, Learn, and Lead.
