About the Team

Our Registration Investigation Team is responsible for undertaking and concluding case investigations into health and character concerns regarding applications to join, re-join or remain on the register. As a senior manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 16 professionals in a fast-paced and busy environment. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to two team managers, ensuring consistent delivery of excellent customer service and achievement of key performance indicators.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 16 staff in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to two team managers
  • Make sound decisions based on NMC legislation and policy
  • Ensure that our high-quality risk-based investigations meet NMC evidential requirements
Requirements
  • Significant analytical and investigative experience
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team
  • Experience of managing and implementing changes to operational processes and systems
  • Ability to understand and explain complex policy and legislation

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £70,000-£85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, enhanced pension contributions, life assurance, hybrid working policies, and access to a range of employee assistance programs.
