The role of a Collections Specialist at Ecotricity is to maximise cash collections and minimise bad debt through excellent customer service and effective debt recovery processes.

Working within our Group Finance operation, this position requires a unique blend of communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical expertise to balance the needs of our customers with those of our business.

  • Engaging with customers in financial difficulty to resolve queries and promote financial stability.
  • Taking ownership of complex issues, working with customers and colleagues to find solutions and deliver results.
  • Processing and updating data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Adhering to industry compliance and regulations, including the Data Protection Act and Vulnerability Commitment.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing changes to drive business success.
