Customs Clerk Job Description

**Role Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Customs Clerk to join our team at WR Logistics. As a Customs Clerk, you will play a critical role in coordinating import and export activities, ensuring compliance with HM Revenue & Customs regulations and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Coordinate import and export activities, including customs clearance and documentation
* Liaise with customs authorities, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and address questions
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of customs declarations and other regulatory requirements
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including customs duty liabilities and other financial data
* Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth import and export operations

**Requirements**

* 2+ years of experience in exports/imports and customs compliance
* Knowledge of customs requirements and formalities, with a focus on UK and EU imports
* Right to work in the UK
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience with the CDS system, including imports and exports
* HMRC amendment and reclaim experience
