Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Specialist to join our Compliance & Estates team at Eastlight Community Homes. As a Fire Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our properties and residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee fire safety workstreams, including fire risk assessments, remedial actions, and inspections to ensure quality work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Support fire safety compliance workstreams, including fire risk assessments, fire protection equipment servicing, and fire alarm maintenance.
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to requests for information, including updates and maintain information & databases about the services delivered.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect works in progress and sign off completed fire safety works.
  • Support management initiatives and assist in developing processes within the Customer Safety team.
  • Attend contractor performance meetings, challenge non-performance, and support line manager by recording evidence on progress of works on site.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of fire risk assessment processes and experience in specifying and inspecting passive fire protection works.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of all completed works.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
