About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Communications Specialist to join our team at Marcura. As a key member of our processing team, you will play a crucial role in making the job of our vessel operators as efficient as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers through online chat support and RT Ticketing system within SLAs
  • Conduct investigations into complex queries and provide recommendations/actions to customers
  • Evaluate and escalate customer complaints to the Sector Manager as necessary
  • Ensure the accuracy and justification of costs on Disbursement Accounts
  • Utilize available tools to process Disbursement Accounts in the most efficient manner
  • Identify and provide feedback on process gaps/improvements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Disbursement Accounts
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Shipping
  • Experience working with vessel operations
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Customer Service type role
  • Ability to fully understand customer requirements and communicate effectively
  • Strong analytical skills to understand costs and events related to port calls
  • Ability to assist other team members in the processing of Disbursement Accounts
