Location: Remote or Central, East & West London, Surrey & Kent. Headquarters near Heathrow

Working Hours: Full Time

Salary: Starting £75,000pa with OTE £100,000pa. Company Car. Progression to Director Designate and MD/Board Position

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to manage our vehicle rental operations across multiple locations. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of over 100 colleagues, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  2. Manage multiple locations, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  3. Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and increase profitability.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, including sales, marketing, and finance.
  5. Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Significant management experience in the independent vehicle rental industry, including multi-site management.
  2. Deep understanding of rental management software, such as Prohire.
  3. Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  5. Able to work autonomously, with a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  7. A valid, full driving license.
