Job Overview

The Culham Centre for Fusion Energy is a world-leading research facility that's driving the development of fusion technology. We're currently seeking a talented Design and Development Engineer to join our team.

As a Design and Development Engineer, you'll be working on a range of projects that involve designing and developing innovative solutions for fusion technologies. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from developing efficient testing programmes to defining new test rig and facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative solutions for fusion technologies
  • Work on a range of projects, including testing programmes and test rig development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in fusion technologies
Requirements

We're looking for someone with a relevant degree or equivalent level in a STEM discipline, gained within the past 2 years. You should also have demonstrable ability to question existing scientific models, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and good planning and time management skills.
