Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Interim Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our client's team in Lydney. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility and leading the production team in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the production team to ensure products are manufactured within the required timeframes and meet quality standards.
- Maximize factory capacity and productivity while minimizing waste and reducing costs.
- Provide direction, motivation, and support to direct reports through effective management and communication.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure site health and safety standards are maintained.
Candidate Attributes:
- Proven experience in managing manufacturing operations.
- Strong experience in driving continuous improvements and process optimization.
- Proficiency in using ERP and other business standard software (MS Office).
