About the Role

G DOC Ltd is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect blood samples from patients via venepuncture, as requested by the healthcare team.
  • Complete all associated documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Mentor and train new staff members in phlebotomy procedures.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of consumable phlebotomy equipment.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
  • Behave with courtesy and consideration towards colleagues and patients at all times.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to data protection legislation.

About Us

G DOC Ltd is a not-for-profit organization owned by GP practices in Gloucestershire. We operate on a limited company basis, with a Board of Directors comprising experienced local GPs. Our services include running GP practices, countywide services, and other healthcare initiatives.
