Job Title: Brain Injury Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual to provide support to a client who has suffered a traumatic brain injury. The successful candidate will assist with life admin, financial support, and management, while also providing emotional support and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with the client's personalised routines to promote independence and well-being.
  • Assist with the care programme, including medication management and monitoring.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the client, promoting a positive and uplifting environment.
  • Aid with financial management, ensuring the client's financial needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with individuals with traumatic brain injuries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and healthcare professionals.
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work the specified hours.
