Second Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Second Chef to join our Hospitality team at Runwood Homes. As a Second Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all stages of food preparation meet the highest standards, prioritizing the well-being of our residents.
  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with the menu and company requirements.
  • Comply with Food Safety & Hygiene Regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Monitor stock levels, maintain effective stock rotation, and place orders as needed.
  • Deputize for the Head Chef when required.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a catering environment.
  • NVQ 2 or City & Guilds Equivalent.
  • Food Hygiene level 2.
  • Team Player.
  • Understanding of special dietary and nutritional requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
