Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Second Chef to join our Hospitality team at Runwood Homes. As a Second Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and hospitality services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards, ensuring the well-being of our residents.
  • Ensure that all food preparation and cooking procedures are maintained in accordance with company requirements and food safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels, maintain effective stock rotation, and place orders as necessary.
  • Deputise for the Head Chef as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure a safe, healthy, and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a catering environment.
  • NVQ 2 or City & Guilds Equivalent.
  • Food Hygiene level 2.
  • Team Player.
  • Understanding of special dietary and nutritional requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
