Second Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Second Chef to join our Hospitality team at Runwood Homes. As a Second Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all stages of food preparation are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring the well-being of residents.
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with the menu and company requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain effective stock rotation.
  • Deputise for the Head Chef as required.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a catering environment.
  • NVQ 2 or City & Guilds equivalent.
  • Food Hygiene level 2.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
