About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Wellbeing and Emotional Support Teams (WEST) in Herefordshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our clinicians and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to children and young people in schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our clinicians, including typing, data inputting, and filing.
  • Answer emails and phone calls from parents and schools in a confidential and sensitive manner.
  • Support the allocation and organisation of appointments, including arranging and confirming meetings and appointments.
  • Provide a full range of administrative support to the team, including preparing and distributing agendas and papers, and supporting clinicians with preparing and sending out clinical documentation.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including clinical records and patient information.
Requirements
  • Recent, relevant administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate IT skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic patient record systems.
  • Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
