About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Resource Management Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for managing growth within product sales and service in the general industry sector, developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To increase company turnover and maintain agreed profit margins through sales to existing customers, conducting market analyses and developing new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Analysing costs and sales.
  • Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects.
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client's needs.

About You:

  • The successful candidate will hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification to HNC/Degree level, or time served apprenticeship.
  • The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience selling into a manufacturing environment, including cement, quarry, heat treatment, and injection moulding.
  • The successful candidate will have experience with all aspects of Microsoft 365.
  • The successful candidate will have an understanding of fluid dynamics and how filtration technology can be applied in industrial applications, experience in oil analysis and machine condition analysis.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in the UK and internationally.
  • Structured, analytical, and strong problem-solving abilities.
